Raipur 22 October 2024// Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai is chairing a meeting of the Surguja Area Tribal Development Authority today at Mayali, a popular tourist destination in Jashpur district. Upon arriving at Kharsa View Point, the Chief Minister and all guests were warmly welcomed with traditional bamboo hats and garlands made of Dumbar fruit and mango leaves, accompanied by the rhythmic beats of the Karma dance and traditional musical instruments such as the Dhaak and Nagada. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and other guests traveled to the meeting venue by boat, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Mayali Nature Camp.
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, Surguja Area Tribal Development Authority Vice President Smt. Gomati Sai, Raigarh MP Shri Radheshyam Rathiya, Jashpur MLA Smt. Raimuni Bhagat, Shri Ram Pratap Singh, Shri Krishna Kumar Rai, Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri P. Dayanand, Commissioner Shri G.R. Churendra, IG Shri Ankit Garg, Collector Dr. Ravi Mittal, and SP Shri Shashi Mohan Singh also accompanied Chief Minister.
*Mayali Nature Camp to Be Revamped with Rs 10 Crore Allocation*
From the Nature Camp, one can enjoy breathtaking views of the dam on one side and the majestic Shivalinga Madheshwar mountain on the other, with lush greenery enhancing the landscape. In addition to including Mayali Nature Camp in the Swadesh Darshan Yojana, the Tourism Department has sanctioned Rs 10 crore for its development.
